First Meetings Workshop

Workshop Details

Duration: 90 minutes
Group size: 25
Cost: $5 per person

This interactive workshop is designed to teach people of any age the fundamentals of forming relationships. This is an essential skill to have in making new acquaintances, beginning friendships or getting a job. It is the basis for respect and self confidence. The workshop is divided into three parts:

Eye contact (the initial contact we have with another person)
Handshake (the first physical contact we have with someone)
An introduction (the first verbal exchange we share)

By learning these simple skills correctly and appropriately, people develop confidence to meet new people and to make friends comfortably. They will also be able to perform better during a job interview.

Forming relationships is the very foundation of a healthy society. It is the next most important element next to a predictable source of food. So many people today do not learn these simple skills at home or at school for a variety of reasons. My goal is to change this status so that scholastic achievements will noticeably improve and behavioral problems will decrease.

These interactive skills have been the subject of various studies which confirm that learning how to form healthy relationships is an investment in happier, more confident individuals. Follow on workshops are also available. In addition, I may be contacted by telephone or email in order to answer any questions which may arise after the initial workshop.

Please contact me to discuss your specific needs.
